I have experienced and managed through the issue’s that technologists frequently face such as, dealing with constant transformations, leadership behaviour change, lack of pro-active personal career development, and tough travel schedules.
I developed the CAPTIVATE coaching approach specifically to adapt coaching to technologists. It draws on a range of disciplines, enabling me to adopt the right method for the coachee’s needs. The objective is to be thought provoking around self and pragmatic around choices. I believe in working at the coachee's pace with a constant readiness to explore issues and allow reflection and thought.
I encourage individuals to focus on positives, self-learning and sustainable change. Using a strengths-based approach leads to increased understanding of optimal and well suited organisational and leadership behaviours. There are also specialist leadership and change coaching models I use in an organisational context as part of the CAPTIVATE approach.
